The Academic Choral Society
Rehearsals
The Academic Choral Society practises on Thursdays at Meritullintori 3, second floor, in Helsinki. The rehearsals begin at 18.00 with some vocal exercises and end approximately at 21.00, including an approx. 20-minute coffee break. Ruut Kiiski conducts the rehearsals, in general.
Auditioning
New members will be chosen on the basis of auditioning on Thursday 29th January and 5th February 2009, from 17.00 to 18.00 at Meritullintori 3, 3rd floor, 00170 Helsinki.
Each applicant has 10 minutes time. At the audition, applicants are asked to sing a song of their choice, and their range, pitch, and sight reading skills are tested.
